Q. What does the Jouvert package include?

A.  The package includes your Shades Jouvert T-shirt (male) Baby-Tee (female), your security band, your drinks cup and goodies from our sponsors.

Q. Is security provided by the band?

A.  Shades Jouvert makes security our #1 priority. Security is therefore provided for our ‘on the road experience’. Persons are provided with security bands in their package and this must be worn at all times.

Q. What route does the band take?

A.  Shades Jouvert usually parade in the uptown Port of Spain area. However, we comply with any route restrictions implemented by the authorities. For security reasons Shades Jouvert do not go downtown Port-of-Spain.

Q. What food and drink do I get?

A.  As part of the ultimate Jouvert experience we provide the following premium drinks (but not limited to) Johnny Walker Black, Absolute Vodka, Puncheon Rum, Black Label Rum, White Oak Rum, Beers, Water and other non-alcoholic drinks.

Breakfast options include Wendy’s and local cuisine; doubles and corn soup.  

Q. How do I register?

A.  For your convenience registration can be done online via our registration page and via our committee members. Registration is not complete until payment is made.

Q. What are my payment options?

A.  Persons registering can make payment via the following options.

         PayPal

         Western Union (please email shadesjouvert@gmail.com for payment details)

         Cash – make payment to listed committee members.

Q. Do you offer group discounts?

A. Persons registering in groups of six or more pay a discounted price of TT$ 450.00.

Q. When and where do I collect my package?

A. Distribution of packages will be done on Carnival Saturday and Sunday (Feb 25 & 26) at Spin City, Eastern Main Road, El Dorado.

Q. When does registration close?

A.  Registration remains open once packages are available. However, on-line registration closes Sunday 19th February. Due to high demand we suggest registering early.
